"Wander in Emotions"
1st Solo Exhibition by Meanapas.c
The Treesquare team recently had the opportunity to visit the exhibition at Somewhere, Pradiphat. It was another day where we learned a lot about our emotional well-being through art. A huge thank you to Khun Mean (Meanapas.c) for taking the time to give us a guided tour, explaining the concept and background of each piece with such dedication. This helped visitors truly connect with the depths of feeling that the artist carefully poured into creating each piece, piece by piece, from the inner feelings that flow through us every day.
What impressed us the most was the artist's courage to tell her story in her own way through colors, dots, lines, and various shapes. It is a heartfelt intention to convey each of our emotional states through the fine details of every artwork, resulting in a unique identity for each piece.
To put it simply, it feels as though someone asked us, "How do you feel today?" and we were able to answer by turning it into a picture.
What helped viewers like us truly connect with the exhibition was the way the lines were scattered across different spots on the minimalist building of Somewhere, along with an interactive activity where we could participate by placing stickers on different colored posters based on how we felt at that moment. We ended up spending much more time in front of each piece than we originally planned.
We at Treesquare are glad to have been a small part of this exhibition through our contribution of providing furniture for people to rest on within the exhibition space. It felt like seeing our work "talking" with the artworks, offering us a fresh perspective on the blend between 2D art, 3D furniture, and the calm, beautiful common space at Somewhere.
We wish Khun Mean all the best in continuing to create art, keep doing what you love like this, and please let us know if there is a next exhibition—we will definitely be there to follow your work again!
